Hard-Water Treatment & Prevention
Hard water spots on windows are often found in industrial areas. Caused by minerals left behind when hard water, which contains high levels of dissolved minerals, evaporates on a glass surface. When it evaporates, it leaves behind a chalky white deposit of calcium carbonate, also known as limescale. Rainwater, sprinklers, or leaky gutters can all cause hard water spots to form.
